I’m a fourth (and final) year student reading for a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Malta. There, I served as a student representative on the Board of Studies of the Department of Mathematics. I have also been running the Malta Mathematical Society for 4 years, since its recent resurrection, where we focus on the national development of the academic mathematical disciplines.

My proudest achievement to date is a startup I founded, called Avail where we raised more than €130k seed funds. There, we worked to make private self-custody the norm in the financial world. Through deep integration with Aleo we built a wallet to facilitate private, compliant, and seamless transactions in the real world.

Now, I work with Merqury Cybersecurity, where we lead the techincal development of Malta’s first test quantum key distribution network, PRISM, as part of the EuroQCI initiative. I have also worked with Dedaub as an intern.

In my spare time, I play CTFs, where I’ve had the honour to represent my country in the ECSC. In my spare spare time, if any, I read about quantum information, cryptography, and information security in general.
